Cobus has traveled around the world as CMO of FIPP, the global association for media companies. He now owns Media Makers Meet (Mx3), a London-based media and tech intelligence community network that produces events such as Mx3 Barcelona, Mx3 Berlin, Mx3 AI, and FIPP World Media Congress. Starting as a journalist in the
1990s, before moving to the business side of media in early 2000, Cobus worked across Africa for Naspers, a technology and multinational media company. In the UK he has worked in multiple markets for Audience Media, a media SaaS business.
